ITM is proud to be sponsoring the upcoming Mountain Bike event which is part of the Abel Tasman Cycle Challenge to be held on Saturday 18 November 2017.

For the first time the highly developed Silvan Forest Mountain Bike Park will hold a major MTB event. The park is among the many Gold Level Rated Mountain Biking facilities in Nelson-Tasman. For the event the Park will be closed to the public for the duration. Participants will start and finish on Champion Road after the start of the On-Road event.   The 4-lap course will take between 3.5 hours and 6 hours depending on conditions and participant abilities. The exact course will be released on Friday November 17th. The trails used will be of Level 2 and Level 3 standard.

All participants must have a bike and helmet that meets the NZ safety standards.

You can enter one of three categories: solo competitor, 2 person or a 4 person teams. Teams can be made up of family members, work mates or associates. If you don’t have a team but would like to be part of one, we can organise this for you.
