We gather information
We gather information by you disclosing personal information on this website using our on-line store card & Building Business application form and when you send us an e-mail. We may collect the following type of information:
- Your name;
- Your e-mail address;
- Your mailing address;
- Your telephone number;
- The company or organisation you work for (if applicable); and
- Demographic information about you and/or your company or organisation.
When you provide your personal information to us, you agree for your data to be collected, processed and stored using third party customer relationship management software together with financial software, that to the best of our knowledge has security safeguards in place to protect your personal information. We hold personal information electronically and in hard copy form, both at our own premises and with the assistance of these service providers.
We will retain the information you provide to us and this includes your contact details to enable us to verify transactions and customer details and to retain adequate records for legal and accounting purposes. This information is held on secure servers in controlled facilities and is stored for the length of time required for us to achieve the purpose for which we collect your personal information.
What we will not do
Except as expressly stated above, we will not under any circumstances sell, publish or give away information to others unless the law requires us to. However, we may give your personal information to our member stores for the sole purpose of them being able to provide to you goods and services, or relevant marketing information.
We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers to member stores and [X], however these statistics will not have any personal information which would identify you and are strictly for information purposes about our customers generally (and this aggregate statistics may relate to the demographic information we obtain from you and the goods and services you purchase from us)
Changing, Correcting and Updating Information
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right at all times to access, amend or update your personal details. If you wish to access, amend or updated your personal details, or do not want to receive any further communications from us please send us an email at webmaster@itmmotueka.co.nz or telephone us. Only specific employees of ITM are able to access your personal data. We will require proof of identity before we disclose any information to you.
