ITM is inviting all existing and new DIY customers to the store this Saturday for a family-friendly fun morning with giveaways, including a signed Tasman Makos jersey, signed ITM Cup rugby balls, a free barbeque and two local racing teams it sponsors will be in the car park with their speedboats and cars ready for public inspection.

Store Manager Glenn Fleming says that locally owned Nelson ITM gives a lot to the local community, donating to the Nelson SPCA and Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust as well as supporting local racing teams and the day is about inviting the rest of Nelson to join the fun and experience ITM as the local building supplies specialists.

“We have some great Outdoor Projects specials at the moment and we will have some one-day-specials this Saturday so it’s a great chance for families to come down, grab a sausage and check out the deals we’ve got going on.”

ITM also has its Priority Card which gives shoppers a discount on a range of products. Card holders also get to nominate a local Non Profit Organisation they would like ITM to support. Glenn says everyone who signs up for the free Priority Card will be in to win the main prize of a Tasman Makos jersey and ITM Cup rugby ball both signed by the Tasman Makos, as well as a family pass to the Nelson Speedway.

“We’ve got a lot happening, our Outdoor Projects promotion is running until the end of the month and we’ve got quite a few balls to give away as well. T-shirts for kids, ITM blow up hammers and stickers; it will be a lot of fun.”

Racing teams Harwood Racing and Stillwell Racing, both sponsored by ITM, will have their cars and boats on display for people to check out with Inhaus carts on display as well.

Nelson ITM Building Centre is at 36 Pascoe St in Tahunanui and the Community day starts this Saturday 20 October from 8am until 12noon.
